I don’t know how do I say BB大鍋 in English…(It’s BB big pot? Something like that???) (・ω・`;)
Yesterday, I went to BB大鍋 festival with some friends of volleyball club after practiced volleyball. It was first time for me to go this festival, but it was so exciting! There were so many people and food stalls. Food stalls of Yakitori, Taiyaki, Yakisoba, … and so on. Some of food stalls were managed by high-school students.
I met some ALTs who teach English in junior high-school or highschool in Hamada. We had a conversation with them for a while. I enjoyed chatting :D
At the stage, the dance team were showed us dance performance! There was the dance team of the university of Shimane, too! I saw Souchan was dancing there :p

I want to go again! Have you ever been to there? If not, I really recommend to go!

  1. There were dancers from the university?
We arrived late, so we missed all of the interesting things. The performances were done, and most of the food was gone by the time we got there. I guess we have to go earlier next year...

  3. One of my students told me that BB大鍋 means BIG BIG nabe. I don't know if it is true, but it makes sense.

I have never been to BB大鍋 before. How big was the BB大鍋? Was it the size of a bath tub or bigger?

  4. Thank you for your comment!
BB means fish. Children in Hamada call fish “びーびー” so, BB大鍋 means fish big pot I think.
I'm sorry I didn't see how big the nabe.
